High Tide

High Tide

'High Tide' is the last sculpture from the St Peters Sculpture Project and combines a poetic text with seven cast concrete hemispheres arranged in a crescent arc, just above the high water mark on Roker beach, Sunderland. The ten year project was initiated by Helix Arts and has demonstrated that local artists working with the community can make a unique cultural contribution to the regeneration process.
