Mapping
Artist Wolfgand Weileder was commissioned by Art and Architecture at Kielder to develop a Minigolf Course at Kielder Water’s main waterside visitor centre. The course design derives from overlapping maps of the area, one of the present landscape, and the other dating from before the reservoir was built. Mini-fairways and obstacles, holes and start points, are spread out over the structure, to create a multi-directional game over a number of vertical levels.
