Sustrans: Terris Novalis
Within Sustrans' work to create a national cycle network, hundreds of artists have been commissioned to make sculpture, landmarks, earthworks, seats and stiles.
The C2C cycle route from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Sunderland on Wearside is home to a series of sculptures, which punctuate the landscape.
