Threshold
One of a series of gateway features commissioned for Gateshead, the five-meter high 'Threshold', marks the southern end of Gateshead High Street and acts as a doorway into the town centre.
The sculpture is interactive and will stimulate the ears, as well as the eyes, of thousands of people who walk through it. Children from St Joseph’s RC Primary School are some of the many local people to literally add their voices to the sculpture.
